Privacy and cookie notice

This notice explains which personal data the sidustech.it website collects, why, for how long and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

2. Who the website is for
Our quote and sales services are reserved for businesses and professionals. We process the data of people acting on behalf of the customer (contacts, purchasing, engineering departments) and, minimally, that of website visitors.

Data marked as required in the forms is needed to receive the requested service; without it we cannot fulfil the order or reply.
4. Anonymous internal statistics
The website records visits and some actions anonymously (uploading a file, calculating a price, requesting a quote, ordering) to understand which pages work. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking tools. A random session identifier stays in the browser memory only until the tab is closed and cannot identify you.
5. Order progress page
With the order confirmation we send customers a personal link to follow production and shipping. The page shows only the data of that order, is not indexed by search engines and is accessible only to whoever has the link: please do not forward it to unauthorised people. When an order is deleted from our management system, the page is deleted.
6. How long we keep data
- Files uploaded for a quote that did not become an order: deleted automatically after 60 days.
- Quotes sent by email: no reminders after 30 days; data remains available to handle the request for up to 24 months, unless you ask for deletion.
- Orders, invoices and accounting documents: 10 years, as required by Italian law (art. 2220 Civil Code).
- Production files of orders: for the warranty period and any reorders, then deleted on request.
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months, or longer if a business relationship arises.
- Anonymous statistics: up to 26 months.
7. Who we share data with
Data is processed by authorised SidusTech staff and by the providers below, appointed as data processors. It may also be shared with couriers (for delivery), accountants and advisers (for tax obligations), banks, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for marketing.

8. File confidentiality
Uploaded 3D files are used only to assess and produce the order and are not disclosed to third parties, except production partners bound by confidentiality.
9. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use profiling or advertising cookies, which is why it shows no cookie banner. It only uses technical browser storage needed for it to work:
- Customer area sign-in (Firebase Authentication, local browser storage): keeps you signed in until you sign out.
- Quote in progress (local and session storage): keeps your files and choices while you move from the home page to the quote tool or reload the page.
- Anonymous statistics (session storage): random identifier deleted when the tab is closed.
You can delete this data at any time from your browser settings. If we ever use third-party analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
10. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive it in a readable format (portability) and withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Write to ufficiocommerciale@sidustech.it: we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
11. Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to orders, files and requests is restricted to authorised staff with personal credentials; payments take place on the secure pages of Stripe and PayPal.
12. Changes
We update this notice when the website’s services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
