1. Scope and customers

These terms govern the sale of components made by SidusTech S.r.l. ("SidusTech") to the customer's specification through the online quote tool. The service is reserved for businesses and professionals with a VAT number buying for purposes related to their trade. Consumer protection rules, including the right of withdrawal, therefore do not apply.

2. Quote and conclusion of the contract

The price is calculated automatically from the uploaded file and the options chosen, is expressed in euros excluding VAT and is valid at the time of the order. The contract is concluded when SidusTech confirms the order after the technical check of the file. If the file cannot be produced as configured, SidusTech proposes a change or cancels the order and refunds everything paid in full, with no further obligations for either party.

3. Files, design and customer responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for the design, dimensions, tolerances and the suitability of the chosen material and technology for the intended use. The file is produced as uploaded, in millimetres. The customer warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the design and indemnifies SidusTech against any third-party claim relating to patents, trademarks, designs or copyright.

4. Tolerances and appearance

Unless agreed in writing, the typical tolerances of the chosen technology apply. Layer lines, support marks and slight variations in colour and surface finish are characteristics of the additive process and are not defects.

5. Prices, shipping and minimum order

Orders with a net amount below €100 are charged €16 shipping; above that threshold shipping within Italy is included. Free collection is available at the Cesano Maderno (MB) workshop, Via Don Luigi Viganò 102/D, Italy, once we notify that the goods are ready. VAT is applied according to the law; for EU customers with a valid VAT number the reverse-charge scheme applies where the conditions are met.

6. Payment

• Credit card and PayPal, through a secure payment provider. SidusTech does not store card details.
• Bank transfer in advance: production starts when the payment is credited.
• Bank transfer 30 days from invoice date, for orders above €2,000 net and subject to credit approval by SidusTech.

Late payments bear the default interest provided for by Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002.

7. Delivery times

Lead times are in working days, run from the technical confirmation and payment, and are indicative. Delays do not give rise to compensation, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Risk passes to the customer on delivery to the carrier or on collection.

8. Inspection on delivery and warranty

The customer must inspect the goods on receipt and report defects or non-conformities in writing within 8 days of delivery, with photographs. If the defect is acknowledged, SidusTech will, at its choice, remake the part or refund its price. SidusTech's liability is in any case limited to the price of the disputed part and excludes indirect damage, machine downtime and loss of profit, to the extent permitted by law.

9. File confidentiality

Uploaded files are used only to assess and produce the order, are not disclosed to third parties except production partners bound by confidentiality, and are kept for as long as needed to manage the order and the warranty.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

The contract is governed by Italian law. The Court of Monza, Italy, has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
