The revolution in 3D printing for the aftermarket

The first and only offer that shortens the aftermarket supply chain, to source spare parts faster and cut warehouse costs.

We produce any spare part that modern 3D printing technologies can make.

Reverse engineering

First we measure it. Point by point.

We scan the original part with a structured-light 3D scanner, even if it is worn, broken or as large as a whole bumper. From the point cloud we rebuild a parametric CAD model, with correct surfaces, threads and dimensions.

Input
Physical part, photo, sketch or dimensioned drawing
Output
STL mesh, parametric STEP CAD, 2D drawings
Typical use
Discontinued spare parts with no drawing left
3D printing

Layer by layer, no moulds.

Complex geometries that traditional machining cannot make, short lead times and no tooling costs. We pick the technology to suit the part: from a small precision detail to a 4-metre component, from prototype to series. On request the part comes sanded, dyed or painted.

FDM
Engineering filament, even two materials in the same part, from PLA to the high-performance polymers PEI and PEEK
FGF
Glass- or carbon-filled granulate, parts up to 4 × 3 × 2 m
SLA / DLP
Resin, fine details and smooth surfaces
SLS
PA12 and PA11 nylon powders, functional parts without supports
MJF
Strong, repeatable PA12 nylon, batches of up to thousands of parts
Typical use
Functional prototypes, spare parts, small and medium batches, furniture and fit-outs

SpareNow · A SidusTech project

Find it. Print it. Fix it.

SpareNow brings 3D printing of car spare parts straight into workshops, body shops and parts dealers. The missing part is not ordered and waited for: it is found in the digital catalogue and printed on site.

  1. FindSearch for the part by vehicle or by OE and aftermarket code.
  2. PrintPrint it on site with the supplied printer. Large parts or special materials are produced and shipped by us.
  3. FixFit the part and hand the vehicle back, with no downtime.

Wherever a spare part stops the work

Aftermarket · 4 industries

In the aftermarket the problem is always the same: long supply chains, slow and costly sourcing, warehouses full of parts that may never be needed. We shorten the chain by producing the part when and where it is needed.

Automotive

Workshops, body shops, parts dealers, restoration and tuning. Clips, brackets, ducts and hard-to-find details in engineering polymers, including carbon- or glass-filled.

Marine and boating

Spare parts for boats and shipyards without weeks of waiting. Faster maintenance for the owner, less stock on board and on the quay.

Industrial automation

Components for stopped lines and machinery, tooling, jigs and inspection fixtures. When the original supplier no longer answers, we start from the part.

The method, from problem to approved spare part

6 stages
  1. 3D designWe design the component starting from the customer’s need, the application and the operating conditions.
  2. Reverse engineeringWhen only the physical part exists, we scan it and rebuild its 3D model.
  3. Material studyWe analyse the part and the environment it works in to choose the right material: temperature, loads, chemicals.
  4. Print parametersWe define the optimal parameters, so the part is reproduced identically on any connected SidusTech machine.
  5. Connected systemEvery machine works in a closed-loop control system, for consistent quality and fast response to problems.
  6. Homologation and certificationWe handle the certifications and approvals each spare part requires, supported by accredited certification bodies.
About us

Pioneers of 3D printing for the aftermarket.

SidusTech was the first company to offer a 3D printing service designed specifically for the aftermarket, cutting the steps between whoever makes a spare part and whoever fits it. We are in Brianza, north of Milan, with our registered office in Seregno and our workshop in Cesano Maderno, where precision engineering meets digital manufacturing.

The team brings together software developers, mechanical designers, lab technicians and experts in materials chemistry and logistics. We all come from the spare parts world and have known the problems of its supply chain for years.

Our goal is to change the spare parts supply chain: lower sourcing times and costs, emptier warehouses, less transport and less environmental impact. That is how SpareNow was born, the platform to print spare parts right where they are needed.
